Olympus D450 1.3 megapixel camera

My first attempt at aerial photography was with an Olympus D450 1.3 megapixel camera and a servo to mechanically trip the shutter. It required my 11' flying wing to carry the camera and the shutter servo was a pain to set up perfectly.   Most of my attempts were out of focus; the camera attempts to auto-focus everything and I could not leave it on infinity. It reset after every shot.

All these shots were taken at the parade field at Ft Meade, Maryland.    http://terraserver-usa.com/image.aspx?t=1&s=11&x=873&y=10823&z=18&w=2

Nothing special in the installation. There is plenty of room in the wing for this. An old servo activates the shutter button. The camera is held in place with tie-downs and the hatch.

A hatch with clear window screws in to cover and protect the camera.
