The radio system used is a Hitec Focus-6 radio system with Hitec HS-422 Servos. Four
channels of the radio are used for the airplane controls, and one channel is used to
switch between human-control and computer-control of the airplane. This leaves a free
channel, which can be used to send control signals to the onboard computer.
