The tilt sensor was constructed from an Analog Devices ADXL202 two-axis accelerometer.
The ADXL202 provides a duty-cycle-modulated output, and reads ±2g. Details of tilt-sensor
design are given in the data sheet
for the device. The completed board is a one-sided PCB, about one inch on a side, and
weighs less than 0.2 oz.
